Somm.it was born in September 1987 by Stefano Camporesi will, 23 years old having
attended a professional school with specialization in mechanics, decides to leave work
from employee as industrial machinery maintainer and make his way as an entrepreneur.
Since 1994 a new member Di Giacomo Elvia joins the company. She takes care of
administrative part and sales area.

Somm.it needs a good lighting on its own machine tools, and with the experience gained
over the years, started the production of led lamps. by testing it directly on its machines,
Somm.it got a very high quality product, which combined with modern led technology gives
an energy saving from 50% to 80% compared to traditional halogen or neon lamps,
with a much higher lifetime and with many advantages:

From 2010 Somm.it is present with its lamps also in the American market, being partnership with an important company specialized in the machine tools sales in the United States, Canada and Mexico markets.
